Afghan Girls Skateboard Better Than You?

Skateboard Uplifts And Changes Lives of Young Afghanistan Girls
Afghanistan is probably the last place you will think of skateboarding, and it is also one of the worst places to be born a women according to UNICEF.
However, that didn’t stop Skateistan (Started by Australian skateboarder Oliver Percovich) and many young Afghan girls to take on skateboarding and education.
A non-profit skate school in Afghanistan was started in 2009 “to use skateboarding as a tool for empowerment in a country worn away by 30 years of conflict and dislocation. The children come for skateboarding, they stay for education.”
This is absolutely beautiful and a very special organization sharing the love for skateboarding and humans.
